CARSA’s Working Model.

The nucleus of our holistic service and transformation of post-genocide Rwandan communities is based on our Resilience Cell groups. These groups of 20-30 genocide survivors and offenders are formed upon the completion of trauma healing and reconciliation workshops. Cell groups meet regularly, allowing members to share their experiences in their healing process, support one another in physical and emotional needs, and address those needs with CARSA’s support and homegrown solutions.
As the needs of post-genocide communities develop, so does our ministry. Engaging Rwanda’s youth with economic, academic, career, and peacemaking opportunities is a focus across the board as we pursue our vision of a future Rwanda characterized by its unity, flourishing, and shalom
