A peaceful society is one where there is food security and the ability to withstand disasters. That's precisely why we engage in supporting farmers in Rwanda's largest workforce, building a nation that is both food-secure and peaceful.
So, we aim to contribute to the exponential growth of food production in Rwanda. To make this vision a reality, we adopted a Community Peace Farm Program to equip smallholder farmers with all the techniques that are needed to practice climate-smart agriculture. There can be no sustainable peace without food security
This holistic program was designed to help saving group members in rural Rwanda gain a better financial understanding and to encourage the usage of formal financial services.
To ensure holistic development and social cohesion among Rwandan communities, we have a pragmatic process of integrating former genocide perpetrators and vulnerable communities formerly known as the "Batwa Community" into the larger community.
We believe housing is a human right. Everyone deserves refuge from the elements and to raise their children in a safe and sanitary environment. CARSA is dedicated to providing shelter to genocide survivors and perpetrators who are living in deplorable conditions due to a lack of resources. By focusing on underprivileged households, the shelter will have a longer-lasting impact by improving their lives.
CARSA, with the intention of building a critical mass of Rwandan entrepreneurs who will become job providers instead of job seekers, provides necessary training about entrepreneurship, and provides existing and potential entrepreneurs with the right skills and knowledge to become competitive players in the local or global market. Entrepreneurs are envisaged as problem solvers, innovators, and risk takers; people with different perspectives toward social and economic solutions.
